I am interested in how multi-racial individuals and non-multiracial individuals understand racial and ethnic identities, and how they feel that their environment helps them in their understanding
Three studies using qualitative and quantitative methodologies have taken place over the course of the PhD. The qualitative studies include individual interviews and focus groups. The quantitative studies were web-based questionnaires.
